Stavanger Aftenblad Newspaper

Almost two years ago I showed a big hole beside the St. Petri Church (left in picture) and Aftenbladet building. Now the hole is filled with the newspapers media department. All is not finished, but give it a few months and it will be very attractive. Here is another photo before.

Ramadhan Meal

A group of people from Aceh (one of many tribes in Indonesia) celebrated and broke fast together. They borrowed a local publicly owned house used for social gatherings next to the Brodd Football place. I was there and the food were just wonderful. I hope they invite me again........

More Lanscape at Finnestad

Green fields and open sky, to me this is a very comforting view. Eventhough most of the food eaten in Norway is imported it is good to know that are still fields to be utilized for food production come a crisis.

Lanscape at Finnestad

Finnestad is an area just North of Stavanger. It used to be a few farms there but now a lot of the area is taking by private homes and companies. Especially towards the sea there is a harbour for North Sea use, Risavik Base.

There is still a lot of farm lands in this area, and this is one of them.

I have photographed this area especially for Michael Finnestad from Colorado, USA.

Happy Sunday

Sun is shining today and it makes me happy. And I hope this flower will brighten up your day too.

This is a little "dukkehus" (dollhouse) as we call it in Norway. It is made so the children can play and serve each other like a family. It is lots of fun at a certain age, and inside they are filled with sweet things and small plates and tea-sets. So bring your little daughters and ask if they can play.
