DP Theme Day - Best Photo of the Year 2008

This is my choice for the best photo of the year. I look at this and long for spring. Today it is such wintery and dark time here in Norway and this picture shows me what will come in four months time. Also I like the color and symbolic meaning in the picture.

Plus my husband also like it the best :)

Haukås Furniture Shop

This is a furniture shop found in Madla center. They have a good quality furniture and a good selection.

Turbo Taco

This is a Mexican fast food restaurant which is located in Madla area.

Kerami Gift Shop

This shop is located in the Madle center. The shop sells flowers, gifts and decorations. I will show some of the shops in this area in the following days.

Pathway along Hafrsfjord

This is a misty day along Harfsfjord looking North. This path runs a few km and is slowly extended. It's wonderful for walking and biking.

Intelbarn

This is a children clothes shop located in the Magasinblå. You can find many nice clothes, jackets, hats and stuff for your children here.

Camarillo Project.

This is a 2006 project. At that time I was getting more and more into 3ds max. This model was done on 3ds max 7. I no not have the actual model anymore. It stayed with the architectural company I was working for, but it is a shame since this model was really an all around object. Looking at it again I think I could have done more things to enhance the picture. I think my knowledge of the 3ds max software has greatly increased over these years, but still there is much more to learn. I remember I did a 30 inches by 42 inches rendering and my boss was really happy the this final product.

House Series # 63

A grand house in Våland. I like this style of house and it is located close to town center.

TVEDT Senteret

TVEDT Center is a big mall in Forus. They have four buildings connected with bridges. There are electrical shops, furnitures, toys and the paper and such.

Kristen Tjeneste

This is a Christian congregation in Forus. They have many activities.

Møller Bil

This car shop and service is located in Forus. It sell Volkswagen cars which are very popular in Norway. My father in law has a Passat.

House Series # 62

A small extended house located across the street from the library in MHS. It is quite cozy and the rooms look small and romantic.

DHL

DHL, the company that brings you packets world wide is also located in Forus. They are very helpful and it is a quick way to send things anywhere.

Forus Atrium

This is an office building in Forus, as you can see on the sign on your right there are many companies located in this building. The building looks clean and neat.

Museum

This grand building is at the back of Archaeology Museum. I took this photo from my archive, still not be able to go out :(

Rodeo Dr.

One of my favorite renderings. I did this on 3ds max 7 in 2007 for the architecture firm I worked for. Although I do not have this model available for download here in this blog here because it was never meant to be a full model, it just looks like its complete but in reality it only shows the necessary features. When rotated, the other parts of the house are missing. Nevertheless I am glad how it turned out, and I quite did not spend much time into this work.
