Mini Mart, 3ds Max 9, Free Model

It has been a while since I uploaded anything on this (my sometimes forgotten blog)  There are so many 3d files I uploaded using fileshare, but just recently their site has changed.  I am most certain that the links found in my older posts have expired, no longer in use, and so the links do not work anymore.  I apologize for that inconvenience.  I will try to restore them, but sometimes it seems like an up going hill, when after a while the links are no good anymore.

The use of this image is prohibited without my consent!
In this occasion, I am offering a simple little store file: Mini Mart, very portable, small size file, 3ds version 9 only.  Hope you enjoy and any feedback is very much welcomed! :)

Pergola Design 10, Free 3ds Model

Ok. I am thinking of creating a new wave of pergola designs, starting with 10, and probably ending in number 20. I am not so sure how long it will actually take me, because I have not that much free time to play with my 3ds max software anymore.

Very simple pergola here, the actual shape is a Hexagon (6 sides). I rendered it with default scanline renderer. No added plugins. the video actually took some time because I uploaded to Youtube in High Definition (HD)

You like this garden structure? You can download it here: Pergola Design 10
The format is a max file; version 9. It is about 360kb in size, for quick download time. Please make sure to check this blog for more free models.

The files shared here all belong to me, nowhere else in the internet would anyone find them. Thank you all for the visits.

Mini Shop Designed In 3DS Max 9

Hello again my friends, how's everyone doing? Well, Looks like lately I have been on a mission to sharpen my skills on 3ds max 9. Here you see a kinda toon looking mini shop, or mini store. It is my most recent work. I had spend close to around 5 or 6 hours on it. Well, including breaks of course. I am happy on how it turned out.

I will have this available for free soon. I will not post the free version just yet. See, I am currently saving some money for buying some accessories I need. So every little penny counts at this point. Once I reach my goal, which is not that high, I will leave the link here for free download.

For the meantime if you like my model much and do not wish to wait, and want to downloadright away, then head over to my turbosquid account and purchase it for very cheap right HERE. I appreciate everyone's support. I will have some more architecture stuff soon. so please check back with me :D

Some Chair Styles I Made On 3DS Max 9

I have just finished up 3 pieces of chairs. Well, actually 2 chairs and one stool to be exact. I try to make my models simple lowest polys possible for easy portability. Mind these are my designs, and hold rights to them. If you wish to download and use, I only ask you give me the credit, and say where you got the model from (HERE).

Ok, here we go. This is the first one. My main goal here was to create an old style chair from royalty. Meaning from a castle belonging to a King or Queen. I would guess that the material used for this type of chair would be wood. so the color accordingly. (download here)

The second one is a stool. I was just imagining in front of a piano of the modern days. Have no clue what ever made me think that. The main feature of this stool is the legs. The s-shape, snake style legs is what I think makes this chair stand out. (download here)

The third and my most recent chair. Kinda futuristic looking. I was thinking if I made and old style chair, I might also try a futuristic type also, although the design might not look very much futuristic, It kinda helped the shiny material I placed on it. It would seem rather hard and not so comfortable without cushions though. I picture this type of chair inside a space ship, many the enterprise or something. (download here)

Well, that is all for this session of chairs, I will probably keep making more, and although this is not exactly architecture, it is rather close when considering interior design. I hope you all have fun with the models. Thanks for visiting and till next time! xD

Max Bridge, Outdoor Walkway

Here is a nice rendition of a small bridge, outdoor walkway. The challenge here was doing the railings and since my first attempt was a failure I had to create a new set in which the faces were not so many.

See, my first try had a rounded profile of the railings and so the 3ds max file went over 25 megabytes in memory space. There was that problem, and also the fact that I could not export it to 3ds file extension. I have learned that it is better to create low polys first and then add more in case it is needed. It keeps the files portable and less headache when you have a not so fast computer. So I deleted the round railings and put in new square profile, it is just as good as rounded, and wala! it is now under 500 kb.

Anyway, you can get access to my free max bridge here for download. file is .3ds.

Here is a video of it showing all around sides. You can watch in HD. Thank you for your visits.

Apartment Building 1

Nicely detailed. Created in 3ds max 9. rendered with v-ray, but also compatible with default scanline renderer. Features partial street, light posts, trellis, balcony, trees, and more. all around design. Vertices: 45,685. File size: 1.5 MB. Download it here: Apartment Building 1

Updated. I guess the trees is what made this somewhat a large file. I decided to do a video render of all the sides of the building so it won't seem just a perspective Hollywood stage. Unbelieable that the little 34 second video took 12 hours to render and 3 hours uploading to Youtube. That is a total of 15 hours of work! Well I am glad on how the video below turned out in HD though.

Pergola 4 On 3DS max

Detailed pergola, personal design #4, created in 3ds max 7, 3 lights sources used. I used default materials and rendered using default scanline renderer. Vertices: 1,357. File size: 293 KB (without animation). Download it here: Pergola 4 (Max 9)

Update: I have added a video in HD for a better understanding of the model. Quite simple 3d, but takes a whole lot of time to render video. I think a faster computer would definitely come in handy, but for now I think its O.k.

Playground Structure Created On 3DS Max

Here is a simple design of a kids playground with lots of stairs and railings to be safe. I have created it on 3DS Max software I used "Final Toon" effect for it will be much easier to see the lines well. I still have yet to upload the file (.3DS) via rapidshare. It will be available soon (probably in 2 or 3 days from now) so please check back for the free link.

Udtate
: now available: Download the .3ds file Here! . Until next time friends, have a good day! XD.

Here is another view, the angled right side of it. Rendered with default scanline renderer and added "Final Toon" effect.
Wireframe version. It only has 2,712 vertices. Enjoy!

Entertainment Center Dot 3DS

My variaty of many types of objects and certainly the technical ones are much easier to do than drawing organic types of things such as plants, animals, humans and the like. Here I bring you an entertainment center... Pretty much common now and contemporary, including the speakers at the side, simple vase decoration and a plasma screen HD TV. I used default scanline renderer on the pic above and that is how the 3ds max file is set, but for anyone using older versions of max or other 3d softwares I have just uploaded the 3DS file. Download it here!

Sofa Table Set

I guess I have been neglecting my 3ds Max recently, because it has been really long since I posted anything on my blog. I won't blame it on a particular reason, but in fact a whole lots of reasons. I got virus on my computer and it was a pain to use 3ds max. Even though I can get rid of some small fry viruses, some are just very sticky and won't go away. So I decided to re-install windows again. The other issue was that I have been busy doing other stuff. Finding time to work on some 3d models has not been in my schedule, when I really should, because Turbosquid site has been good to me. If things go well, from now on I will upload a couple of models I have on my mind.

Important: Remember that all the links on this site to my 100% free files have limit. Meaning they could expire if people stop downloading for some time. I will try to re-upload by request. (I think some links are already dead)

Ok, then on to business... Here is a quick rendering of some living room elements, including sofa, couch, and table with top made of glass. I try to keep things simple, so what you see here is what you get. file is a 3ds extension. I did not use any plug-ins, its simple rendered with default scanline renderer, I used 3 light sources, and the file very portable. Download It Here!

Big House 2

Here is a simple yet very nice detailed 2 story home created on 3ds Max 9. Rendered with V-ray, but also compatible with default scanline renderer. This picture here is touched up on Photoshop CS. The elements created on Photoshop software are mainly the grass up front and the trees way in the back of the house. V-ray makes it look like a real drawing, as you can see the very thin outlines of the house, this is done using the V-ray toon enviroment effect. This be my recent work, and have liked the outcome of the entire work, that is why I am putting this piece as one of my favorite renderings as well as download. Get the 3ds max file here: Big house 2
