This yearly event has ended today. I just had a chance to attend this event today since I was away for my summer holiday. Gladmat started in around 1999 and has grown in size and confidence, with exhibitors and sellers and outdoor cafes and restaurants filling up both sides of vaagen - the main harbour in central Stavanger. 
Gladmat 2008 was over yesterday and I will end this Gladmat series by showing you the stand of Aresvik Gard which sold home-made dried meat. If you want to see more photos of this festival you can click here.
This is the stand for Gaffel & Karaffel (fork & decanter), a local restaurant with dining and various functions over four floors.
As I said yesterday, there are many stands take part in this food festival. This one is Jans Mat og Vinhus, a modern french cuisine restaurant. The restaurant is closed in July but you can find them at the Gladmat festival, 23rd - 26th.
