There was a particular chair in that lounge that had an end table with a lamp

Study Habits for College
Strong study skills are essential to succeed in school and in life. It isn't enough to just sit inside a classroom and hope to soak up the knowledge an instructor is presenting and never look at the material again. High School Test Taking Tips
Preparations for a test should begin the moment you start covering a new unit. Complete homework when it is given, and look over notes on nights when you have no homework. Finals Week Study Tips
Each semester in college ends with tests in each of your courses. This is your opportunity to seal the deal, go out with a bang, and show what you've learned! The problem is that these tests are usually cumulative, and most likely worth a large portion of your overall grade. All four or five of these tests must be taken during the same week and perhaps some may even fall on the same day. Finals

How Do I Study???
You're off at college living in the dorm with roommates and suite-mates. The days of entering your own private bedroom and shutting the door behind you to quietly study are over. It's time to come up with new, inventive ways to study for your college courses.
