Almost two years ago I showed a big hole beside the St. Petri Church (left in picture) and Aftenbladet building. Now the hole is filled with the newspapers media department. All is not finished, but give it a few months and it will be very attractive. Here is another photo before.
This is a small pond on top of the railway station. The statue desspict a woman and a swan. It is a peaceful place to sit, it is behind the historical building and next to an art gallery.
This is a lovely kindergarden (barnehage) in Stavanger. It is a nice place for your children to spend their day.
Here is another beautiful wooden sail boat in a local marina. Much work to keep it as beautiful as this, but some people love to do the maintanance on sunny days in spring. Now it is getting colder, but still many sweet days to hit the fjords for a sailing day.
A group of people from Aceh (one of many tribes in Indonesia) celebrated and broke fast together. They borrowed a local publicly owned house used for social gatherings next to the Brodd Football place. I was there and the food were just wonderful. I hope they invite me again........
The stonage man (steinaldermannen) is a sculpture in Randaberg. A cave is found nearby where they supposedly lived 8-10.000 years ago.
Many practical motor boats are moored here, ready to go out fishing or just for the trip. Salt sea air is so refreshing.
