Fashion shows are a means where fashion designers get to show off his or her latest designs to the world. The pioneer American fashion show took place in 1903 in the Ehrlich Brothers store located in New York City.

Denise Kingsmill, chair of such inquiry stated that “During the investigation, evidence of the vulnerability of women in the modeling progression was startling and models are at high risk of eating disorders”.
