Silverlake based Dean has been around for more than a decade making bags and leather accessories. Dean’s products all have a rustic aesthetic that adds authenticity and character to them. That’s because Dean makes its goods using old methods of construction and keeps its designs simple.
Our favorite of their offerings is the MD bag. Inspired by the bags doctors would carry when making housecalls a century ago, the MD bag is utilitarian and rugged, perfect for overnighers or short road trips. Details like the rivets that attach the side pockets and the hardware used as clasps and buckles make the bag a standout. There just aren’t that many products we run across that are this impressive.
