New Apartments

Here are some new apartments being built, as you can see the two lowest floors are garage for the cars, on top are grass and trees. When you walk from the back you would not know that under the greenery there are two floors with cars.

Apartment Series # 36

This is a new block in Storhaug - Kjelvene area. It has many apartments and some is divided into two, so if you don't need much space you can hire out a part, and both have bathroom.

Apartment Series # 35

This is a new apartments in town center. They look futuristic, but I think the way it is made, making rain run on the wood instead of a proper roof. It is no good here with all our rain. I like its design though.

This is a very nice block of flats in Storhaug. Behind is a nice garden and everything seems well made.

This apartment is located in Forus. As you see one of these apartments are for sale. Once we went and looked at a similar one and it is really nice. Only thing is there is no lift and a bit far to walk from garage. But we liked the area and the apartment very much.

Apartment Series # 32

There are two apartments blocks like this in Godalen. This is on the South end of Storhaug which is a neighbourhood of Stavanger. My father-in-law lives here and brother to my husband is moving soon in the other block. This cooperative housing is very well kept and going down to the right is the beach.

This apartment is located in Rosenli area. It is a quiet and nice place to live. There is a playground for children to play and close to the beach.

In this area there are many apartment blocks like this one. It is next to the NMS. The apartment are not so expensive and it is a popular place to live.

Again, what a view for those overlooking the fjord, the mountains and islands to the left. There is also a small marina so it is interesting seeing the boats going and coming. This is not a boring view at all.

This apartment is across the street of the playground I posted yesterday. It has a nice view towards the marina and the fjord. This part of Hinna used to be area for industry but it is slowly transform to residential area.

These apartments are across the street of my Tuesday's post. Behind me is the Mosvatnet lake. There is a bit traffic on these two roads, but the general area is quiet with many big nice houses.

This is some new apartment buildings near Tjensvoll round about. They are very nice and those on the left we had been looking at before we bought our own.

Some nice apartments in Randaberg. The building looks well kept and it is very easy way to live in such a place.

Apartment Series # 24

These apartments are located in Randaberg center, a small community center North of Stavanger. The apartments looks nice with shops and a restaurant at street level.

Apartment for Rent

This is a company, like an agent or middle man for hiring out apartments. It is a very busy area Stavanger so it is not easy to get a place to live. To buy is easy, but to hire is not easy, especially if you want it cheap.

Apartment Series # 23

A new blocks of flat on top of Gausel. They are well made and comfortable apartment. Many people nowadays prefer to live in flat like this rather than in houses like the one I posted yesterday. Both ways of living has its charm, but for those that don't like maintenance and garden works, the only choice is flat.
