Brun og Blid (Brown and Cheerful)

Here in Stavanger with short summer and long winter, some people like a boost of sun, although artificial one. Some like the pale look (like Goth's), but many like a little bit of colour. So here you can get your tan as if you have been in the Maldives, ha ha.

Bagel Buddy

Bagel Buddy is the first bagelcafé in Stavanger. A cozy place for a few friends to sit down and eat some sweet things. These days it is so cold outside, so some bagels and a cup of warm tea or chocolate is wonderful.

It is located at Magasinblaa building. They bake the food themselves, butter and serve as delicious bagelsandwiches. They also have juices, milk shakes and all kinds of coffee drinks that modern customers like. For more info you can find it here.

House Series # 54

This modern house is found in Hinna park. It looks very artistic and I'm sure it is very comfortable inside. My husband would like to sit on the terrace in a deckchair smoking a cigar on a fine summer evening.

Cozy Entrance

This stately home is located in Gausel, I like it a lot.

Small Incline at Hinna

This is a small incline towards the sea from Viking Football Stadium. On the top is the nice playground I showed some days ago. Come snow it will be fun for the smallest children to slide and using their sledges and such.

Apartment Series # 29

Again, what a view for those overlooking the fjord, the mountains and islands to the left. There is also a small marina so it is interesting seeing the boats going and coming. This is not a boring view at all.

Boganes Strand House

This house is located at Boganes beach area. A nice and normal house, the photo is from the back. But brother, see the view, this is a gem of a view. I know I did not take this on the best of days, but the view is towards the South, you see the fjord, the mountain and sky. Just what many would like to have.

House Series # 53

This is a lovely house in a very idyllic area. It is a nice area for taking a quiet stroll.

A Small Pond near Vannassen # 2

I showed a photo from this pond some days ago, but it is so lovely so I show here another view from another direction.

Riding Lessons in Hinna

This is a small farm in Hinna, not far from the Viking Stadium. They keep horses and as you see here give riding lessons. Behind this is the Boganes beach. A very lovely area.

Surfing at Sola Beach

The coastline of Stavanger is among the best places in Norway for surfing. This is how it looks like on a crowded afternoon. The water temp is about 8 deg Celcius.

Apartment Series # 28

This apartment is across the street of the playground I posted yesterday. It has a nice view towards the marina and the fjord. This part of Hinna used to be area for industry but it is slowly transform to residential area.

Lekeplass # 7

This playground is also located in Hinna park. I think this is the most interesting playground that I've been seen for children from 3 to 8 years old.

House Series # 52

This is a new row housing in Hinna park near the football stadium. We went there for a walk and I will show pictures of this new and modern area. So please come back tomorrow.

House Series # 51

This big house is located at Hinna, near Boganes beach just South of Viking stadion. It's a very quiet and idyllic place to live. I will show some more pictures of this area in the next few days.

A Small Pond near Vannassen

A lovely pond near an old people's home in Auglend area. As you see some leaves are dropping and we are in the middle of autumn now.

Houses Series # 12

Here are some lovely houses overlooking the bay in Tananger. This is a very popular place to live and if you have a boat moored below, you will be in boat heaven.

Apartment Series # 27

These apartments are across the street of my Tuesday's post. Behind me is the Mosvatnet lake. There is a bit traffic on these two roads, but the general area is quiet with many big nice houses.

Barnehage Near Tjensvoll Round About

This kindergarden is located behind the apartment I showed yesterday. For those living in these apartments, it would be super convenient to have their children going here.

This is some new apartment buildings near Tjensvoll round about. They are very nice and those on the left we had been looking at before we bought our own.

Inside Arkaden - Vivikes

Today I show Vivikes, a fashion, clothing and national costumes shop for women inside the Arkaden Shopping Center. It is a shop for modern women and have stylish clothes.

Inside Arkaden - Glitter

Another shop inside Arkaden Shopping Center. This one is Glitter, a heaven for those that like cheap jewelry. Especially girls in all ages love to shop here.

Inside Arkaden - Cubus

Today and the following 2 days I will show some pictures of the shops inside Arkaden Shopping Center. Today it is Cubus, a shop with reasonable priced clothes for the family.
